What Are Specialty Contact Lenses?
Patients suffering from irregular astigmatism due to corneal trauma, Keratoconus, corneal transplantation, and post-surgical irregularity may be candidates for contact lenses that correct vision. Additionally, patients with high astigmatism or the need for reading glasses will benefit from our specialty contact lens services including multifocal lenses.
A few of the types of specialty lenses we offer include:
Corneal Gas Permeable Lenses
Cosmetic Contact Lens Options
- Prosthetic contact lenses: patients with cosmetic irregularities may benefit from a consultation for a contact lens to cover their irregular cornea.
- Custom Soft Contact lenses: treatment of high astigmatism or high far or nearsightedness
- Multifocal contact lens options: offer independence from reading glasses
