Dr. Nicholas Vrouvas attended Indiana University receiving his Bachelors in Science and Doctor of Optometry Degree in 1971. After graduating, he gained two years of clinical experience at the Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital and departed with the rank of Captain in the Marine Corp. He then relocated to downtown San Francisco where he has maintained a private practice serving the Bay Area for over 48 years. Dr. Vrouvas is pleased to recently have joined the Goodman Eye Center as a part-time optometrist.
He is a member of the San Francisco Optometric Society (SFOS), the California Optometric Association (COA), and the American Optometric Association (AOA). He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometrists (FAAO), and past President of SFOS.
Dr. Vrouvas enjoys gardening, golf, wine tasting, and travel. His family is expecting their first grandchild soon and he expects to be baby and dog sitting shortly.
